finally got my books this afteroon wooo hooo. T175 looks a lot more interesting than M150 but i suppose they both have 30 academic points so i think i should spend just as much time and care on both

loved the warriors movie clip its put a nice picture in my head of what i studied with my CCNA course

had an interesting point of view from the tutor that facilitated the induction on sunday, basically that M150 (and I guess T175 too) is a pass/fail course; i.e. no extra merit for doing more than just passing. To this end should we be doing "just enough" to pass.

For me while a degree is the primary objective, I am keen to measure my ability against the course itself and will be pushing for as high a mark as possible, leaving a double booking untilnext year when I am going to run T175 alongside one of the Maths courses.

good point and don't forget once you pass the T175 you will get your first mile stone Cirtificate C47 for completing M150 & T175

Certificate in Information Technology and Computing Code: C47
http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?Q01C47

once i finish M150 and T175 i may do both maths courses together gaining another 60 points or i may just go for the level 2 Information and communication technologies: people and interactions (T209) which is 60 points on its own and one level 3 Keeping ahead in information and communication technologies (T324) as you need 120 academic points and one level 3 course to achive your next mile stone so i may leave the maths till last to get my cirtificate and diploma sooner

Diploma in Information Technology Code: D39
http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?Q01D39

my plan then is to head for the BSc (Honours) Information and Communication Technologies Code: B38
http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?Q01B38

but i want to get the recognised qualifications on the way

you will need to get 300 for the degree and 360 for the honours

but thats way ahead and things may change before then which is why i am going the the assosiated qualifications as a priority en route to the degree
