My first tutorial is on Thursday.

Not finding the TMA too bad at the moment but no doubt that'll change as I work through it Smile

I've got my first tutorial on Tuesday too.

Its a real pain as I am away on business all week (yorkshire) so hoped I could pick up a local group. Unfortunatley they are all on weekends and my Harborne groups are all Tuesdays, thanks go d my fuel is paid for Very Happy .

I am really enjoying the material although most of it is currently refresher, I have discovered some new concepts and questioned some of my preconceived ideas.

TMA1 is virtually complete, just waiting for the forum discussion.

Looking forward to some more hands on work with HTML and Javascript.

Well, it was going quite well, ahead by a couple of weeks with the reading and all that. Then we had a baby on 28 September and, for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on, the reading seems to have slowed down a bit! Rolling Eyes

First tutorial is on Saturday. I'm up to date for that though.

The only thing I am worried about is that the first couple of books seem quite straightforward - am I missing something?!

congrats on the new arrival,

As this is unit 1 on a level 1 course i think you are right about it being straight forward, but i'm sure it will become more challenging as the course progresses,

so are you off to the OU in Cardiff on Saturday, ... me too see you there

i got ahead but i have come to a stop now waiting for the course to catch me up i have done TMA01 for both courses all but the forum questions of course, i am a bit unsure about starting TMA 02 because while we are all still on unit 1 i don't want to muddle myself

Has any one made a start on TMA 02 yet ??

Yeah i suppose it was ok for the first tutorial, it was basically an ice breaker, and somewhere to air any of your concerns, i didn't learn anything i didn't already know but it was nice to put a face to some of the people i chat to on the forums and meet the course tutor, there were only 5 people there out of the 22 students so i hope they do not get cancelled, as it does say in the books that if there is not enough people attending these tutorials they will be stopped and the use of online conferencing will be used instead

i hope yours went better than ours... although i will be going to all tutorials regardless
